Susan Almeida received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of RI; she has been practicing in the outpatient setting for 15 years. Susan has experience in treating many orthopedic conditions including post surgical as well as neurological diagnoses.
She has provided therapy for a wide variety of patient diagnoses in various age groups and activity levels.
Susan has attended extensive continuing education seminars in the areas of manual training including muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, kinesio taping and strain/counter strain. She integrates manual techniques and exercise prescription individualized to each person to assist all patients in achieving their goals.
